I think people are fed up with how these organizations are reporting/manipulating this data in a time when accurate data is extremely important. This type of scenario happens on a century scale and it is being manipulated because people have near term agendas.

The flu stats werent really THAT significant...something like 65k on the HIGH end during the flu season....if covid stats go to 500k, just subtract 65k...but like the flu, covid also causes other respiratory problems, which in the past have been attributed to the flu in some cases but now will likely just be attributed to covid.

Also, these organizations have to collect data fairly uniformly bc that data is shared globally..which is why covid related deaths have to be categorized under certain conditions..so that the data across countries isnt all screwed up with differing information.

But ofc people are too fkn stupid these days to have any logical thoughts.
