Have Democrats learned nothing since 2012?
I have my opinions about which candidate will be better for the United States (and the world in general), but this post is more about the absolute unbelievable entitlement that your average Democrat seems to feel and express about absolutely every issue.
In the most important days of an extremely tight race, I have seen memes such as this from several Democratic friends on FB.

After getting BTFO in 2012, did these people learn absolutely nothing about the importance of "all the polls" or the opinions of "DC insiders" or do they just think because they claim to represent "the masses" they are therefore always right in every situation? srs question. Misc Democrats plz respond.

To do it against an incumbent Trump though? You're fighting an uphill battle with a shaky candidate, the election isn't even over and you're already gloating?
Just seems phucking retarded to me.

What gets me is anytime I had asked what exactly was it about the democratic parties views, Ideology , & policies draws you to them.... Literally none of them could give me a straight educated answer other than they hate Trump. The Democratic party used to serve the working man... Now they cater to the man who doesnt want to work!! Its all about control

I know the script bro. It's unbelievable how little people are willing to have their beliefs challenged in any capacity these days.

First of all the year was 2016 not 2012, Obama won in 2012.
Secondly many of the foreign influences from 2016 have been negated, so social media isn't flooded with foreign countries dropping weird fictional stories.
Thirdly and most important, the president has a record of success and failures unlike the previous presidential race.
Cliffs: this is a different year from 2016, he has a record that he is running on.

But how does any of that justify people already declaring victory and gloating like they won a week (ormore) before the election is over. Just seems to me to be a rehash of that same attitude of talking down to the entire country that got the Democrats buttphucked in 2016.

(not my meme, just posted by the same website as the OP and I remembered this one specifically from 2016)

after i witnessed wtf happened in the 2016 elections, polls mean nothing now especially if it shows Biden winning. I remember when all the mainstream media polls were saying trump was losing and look wtf happened, it will be the same in 2020 but the mail-in voting and fraud might just phuck everything up

Covid has made people weird, how can we explain the actions of our friends and family let alone "people onthe internet".
Maybe they are so desperate for a change that they see a mirage, or they are hoping that their team wins.

They are living in east / west coast communities where it is extremely easy to set up echo chambers.
I went to an extremely left college...back when I had a fb account my news feed was nothing but anti-Trump spam from that entire cohort. They believe everyone thinks like them because that's all they see and hear.

I'm only scared that fraud will get Trump to lose and that the FBI and DOJ are nothing but swamp monsters as apparent at this point and won't do anything about it

Itโs amusing watching miscer relegate democrats to morons who have a hate-trump-at-all-cost echo chamber but then says a win by Joe Biden can only happen through election fraud. The hate for trump is tremendous, justified or not.
