My 30s were incredible man. I did a ton of stuff, mostly vacations. I know it's something that old people say, but I don't feel 40. I feel much younger than that and even act much younger than 40. Having a good wife is helpful. Loving my kids is helpful.

I've definitely made it in life. I don't count material possessions as making it, but there are those who do. I have a house worth over 400K, a new sports car paid for, own two other vehicles as well, a nice savings account, two undergrad degrees, one grad degree, speak a foreign language and blah blah blah. Yet the most important thing in my life is my faith. And yes, I know this is the misc. Most people here couldn't care less about religion or faith, but at the end of the day, it's what made me who I am. I was wounded in Iraq by an IED, overcame drug addiction, and anger all through my faith.
