Word origin of "Education" (invented by Rockefeller 120 years ago)

If we know Rockefeller invented "schooling" for kids 120 years ago...

Originally of instruction in social codes and manners; meaning "systematic schooling and training for work" is from 1610s.
Man, I can't believe that 1610 was only 120 years ago :'( how time flies!
