Anyone get walmart grocery delivery?

I ordered a couple months worth of food and it said the guy was here. On the order I clicked the option of contactless delivery and have them leave it by the door. This ******* comes and kept banging on my door idk what the fuk he needs. I paid already and chose the option leave by door. So I look out there and the guy is gone and he didn't leave my groceries. Wtf? Did I just get scammed?

I guess you could pick up the phone or chat or something and figure out what's going on? You also have an alarming number of odd incidents that seem to happen to you.

walmart uses a 3rd party service. it's doordash. there's a weird communication gap, imo. because i don't think the doordashers know this. they think you're doing it through doordash when you don't use doordash at all, you're using walmart. as you can imagine with the 3rd party service you get "random" drivers. this is why they can differ so much from person to person. and as well as why they might not have seen the "no contact" delivery thing. there's also a weird exchange of phone numbers as well because of this, where the app seems to create phone numbers by proxy so you aren't using your real numbers.

i've only had one problem with them ever. someone texted me and told me they couldn't do my delivery.. and i was like.. " i dont really care as long as i get my food/ groceries"

and then they called and said they weren't doing it. it was too far away, etc.

so i called walmart and the bish was awesome. srs.. it was really good customer service. they were like "that's not okay" and then they called the manager of the store and had to get them on the line. heard her talking to a bunch of people. they gave me 10 bucks and then the manager of the store called me and told me they had gotten another driver

I called the walmart and the person said the online delivery manager is not there. I asked if someone can help and they said they will have someone call me. Idk why this **** always happens to me. The online tracker said the guy was here. Then he banged on the door in that pattern like when someone knows you. I thought he was banging just to let me know the groceries were here like they always do. Then he banged 2 more times so I was like wtf and put on my shoes to go out there. Then when I went out there he was driving away and didn't leave my groceries. The online tracking thing now says not available.

im pretty sure i have nice walmarts in my area, cause i've heard this. they're legit nice

but i mean.. if the person did this they're pretty dumb. i'm pretty sure their identity is tied to their account (doordash) which also MAKES you tie your bank account to the account in order to deliver and that would be theft

i would think walmart would work something out with you

also, i feel like i called a general walmart number? idk.

but an "online manager" sounds like they're talking directly about a store.

i seemed to talk someone from a more corporate/ controlly perspective. because THAT woman then got in contact with the individual store

something to consider

I talked to a guy on the walmart chat and his story didn't make sense. I had a problem before with them where they forgot a lot of items and they played games with me. They would say their script and then would give me another number to call to talk to someone else. After the 3rd person that did this I realized they were just giving me different numbers to the same call center trying to get me to just give up. I am never doing online orders from walmart again. Now I have a bunch of money on hold on my bank account for 48-72 hours.

The time between when the email said order is on its way and to when the guy got here was 16 minutes. I had no cold or frozen things on my order. Something odd happened.

Sick of these fukin scams. I went into my account and see it is still listed as being on the way. I talked to another walmart person on their online chat and they said the order was never cancelled. Even though the guy yesterday said my order was cancelled. The lady is saying unless I get an email confirming it was cancelled it is not cancelled. These people will tell you whatever they need to to get you to go away. I'm trying to get my money back now but they are giving me a hard time. And there is no way to get a transcript from them of previous chats. They said they dont keep records of the chats. I am calling bull**** on that.

I wouldn’t trust some minimum wage child or barely over minimum wage 35 year old associate to ever deliver my food, the thing me and my family need to survive.

If you want it done right, go get it yourself. Nom sayin?

Yeah I got you but I was just ordering 3 months of canned and packaged dry food. Nothing like meat or anything. I hate going in there with a mask because it fogs up my glasses and I cant see and also the whole place is self check out and its too crowded so I figured I would try the delivery thing again. Its a fukin scam never get walmart grocery delivery.

They refunded me the guy's tip and the delivery fee. Just not the money for the groceries. It might have been some crackhead that wanted cash tip or wanted to look inside the house or see who lives here so he can come back later and rob me.
