NDE, paranormal, OBE, weird experiences thread
I'll start by sharing one of my experiences that practically changed my life:
When I was in my early 20s I owned a 600cc sport bike. I wasn't the most careful person and would be a dick to other people on the streets for the lulz. Weaving in and out of traffic, passing people, tapping on other people's cars - all because I thought I was badass and untouchable. Eventually I was did in by a speeding vehicle - rear ended the **** out of me.
They say when you die you go into a life review. That is 100% true from my experience. My whole life flashed before my eyes and you are judged. But you are judging yourself from a higher perspective - if that makes sense. You are seeing your lower self from an eagle's perspective and everything from the 3rd person. And the key takeaways from this:
- Your attitude in life is what matters - how you react to negative and positive situations. Were you one to give up, be bitter about situations, or were you a positive, radiant being making the best out of your situation and being a beacon of light for 'others'?
- What you do behind closed doors is what you will truly review - not so much what you do in public or with other people around. If you do something that you're ashamed about, you shouldn't be doing it, because that'll add up
- Your parents, friends, etc. are all just players in your game, and at the deepest level, they are all 'you.' Now why am I typing this if "I" am the only one that exists? Well just realize the one truth that I'm just you talking to you. There are no others. Only you.
Be thankful for this hard reality, it's the ultimate test
Then I materialize in a hospital bed. Yes, I didn't even wake up. I completely materialized the environment around me. This showed me that I was on a certain path and I had to keep going, no matter what.

havent had much of this stuff, closest was:
1 - definite case of sleep paralysis, thought there was a demon in my room ect.
2. probably case of sleep paralysis, had a dream that felt "realer than real", where i just woke up to go to the bathroom, walking down the hall way but then floated up out of my body and looked down on my body in the hallway, then woke up in my bed, really weird.
3. had a hallucination were i was buried alive underground in a casket, but it wasnt scary, it was peaceful, and then i floated above into the sky and saw myself below
I never seen any ghosts or anything though, no voices, none of that chit. never almost died or had any serious accidents or sickness

A week before my re-sentencing hearing to determine if I would be geting out of prison or not, my mom was at church and saw a black guy she had never seen before...they started talking and she found out that a week earlier he had been released from prison early....his name was Zac..which is my name as well. In my resentencing hearing I was let out of prison five days later.

Glad you are still here in this world with us. I still believe that the realization which came from your life and death experience has been there all along inside your heart. Facing imminent death, your heart sent the right message to your mind at exactly the right moment, which was ready to accept any suggestions to lead its owner to the right direction.
Thanks for sharing your great experience with us and I wish you good luck, m'friend. *bow*

Came in to refute the legitimacy of NDE claims, but yours is well done.
Normally you hear this bullchit about meeting God or whatever. I can appreciate your introspection while under the impression you could die though.
I think it is mentally healthy for us to contemplate our own deaths.
A signature stoic mantra “momento mori” means to remember you will die, and to meditate on it. Imagine intentionally giving yourself the type of introspection and life perspective on regular basis. Imagine altering you behavior and habits to live the ideas you learned.
It seems there is a positive side to your accident. I’m glad you made it out, but it seems you handled it very well emotionally. Good job OP.

I had the life review. It was like one of those things where you flip through images. I had memories go by fast a lot of things I had forgotten about and dont know how they came back. Then I was in a dark room or a black box. It felt like a room but was black square all 4 sides and I could see nothing. Felt other things there like they were people but different than people and they were pissed off at me. I sensed that I didn't belong there and it felt like one of them grabbed me from the back of my neck and pulled me somewhere and I felt my body being torn into small pieces that turned into colors that formed a tunnel I was being sucked through and it seemed to last a long time and I knew I was dead. When I came back to my body I asked if I could take the hose out of my nose and the lady said no and then I asked her later if people have bad dreams when unconscious and she looked at me like I was a weirdo and said no you dont have dreams they give you a drug that would make you forget them even if you had them. So idk what it was. I cant remember all of it but I remember some. I remember thinking what I was seeing was impossible to see and I cant remember it because it was indescribable.

Weaving in and out of traffic, passing people, tapping on other people's cars - all because I thought I was badass and untouchable.

Question on materializing, what do you mean by that? Is it kind of like watching a slow fade screensaver that just suddenly appears in front of you? or is it something you actually controlled happening, like you actively made your materialization happen with your mind jsut by thinking it or being aware of it?

And at that point the bright white light formed into greenness - which later I decoded as hospital walls. Then slowly more details come in and I see this person next to me (nurse).
