TF is the point of Blue Laws?

Not a drinker and I don’t condone it.

In the more backwards parts of the country there is no separation of church and state.

So this is what people say, you just have to plan for it.

My question is what is the fundamental difference between planning for it and buying extra on Friday/Saturday, and just buying it on Sunday and either way, still drinking on Sunday?

To me, it literally only seems to be a failure of religious freedom. That is, separation of church and state is the cornerstone of religious freedom, but this law is only based on religious ideology.

Without religious interference in state laws, what is the point? Why does this exist?
