People get pissed when I say that screaming kids should not be tolerated in public

And by public I mean restaurants, movies, plays, etc.

I get they are young kids and have some sympathy for that but please take them away until they cool off. I don’t see why everyone else has to suffer the wailing.

I’ve stated this freely and some people actually get offended about it lol. Like they are shocked I would draw that line.

Pisses me off even more because when my kids throw a tantrum in public I’m embarrassed as fuk and end up shoulder carrying them outside or to the car. Why the fuk do I have to listen to other parents kids throwing fits when I would never allow mine to act like that?

If a kid starts screaming in a restaurant or movie theatre the parents should have 10 seconds to fix the problem or gtfo.

The age affects this for me. Your 1.5 year old throwing a tantrum is much more tolerable than your 5 year old throwing a tantrum but I agree that the parent should remove the kid from the situation if attempts to calm him down don't work.
