Ive just finished a six month course on taxidermy
And have decided it’s not for me as it is difficult as fuc.
I thought it would be a great way to make some extra money after seeing the money my grandfather had got for a taxidermy albino mole.
Anyway, over the course of six months we had to taxidermy a mouse. Which consisted of removing its insides and basically rebuilding its bone structure with metal pins, stuffing it, sewing it up etc.
I don’t have the patience for it and it was pretty grim to be honest, and also six months with the mouse and i legit felt bad for what i did to it.
We had to show our final mouse to get graded and the instructor thought i had talent, as we had to mount it and some people mounted it on a mouse trap or a wooden block of cheese or in a nest etc.
Anyway, here is mine, but it will be my last foray into taxidermy as i’m going to bury him at the weekend.

I've always felt that being stuffed should be an option for people as well. Instead of putting grampa in the ground, you can keep him around!

When my dog dies I’m getting him stuffed, I don’t care what the wife says.
