People keep saying this. I wonder if anyone actually believes it, or if it’s just a meme/joke.

Now the the precedent has been set, it won’t matter if it’s Covid or the flu or anything else communicable, this is going to be going on for years to come.

The precedent is set: if X number of people are at risk or die, we shut things down and start wearing masks.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking this is going to be over. Even if COVID-19 goes away tomorrow, this won’t be over.
