People who complain about "the 9-5" are gigantic *******s, srs

I've been working 45-55 hours a week working weeknights and Saturdays for 11 years. I would decapitate a baby with my bare hands to have a 9-5 job that pays me what I currently make


People who have good paying 9-5 jobs who complain about their schedule are the biggest *******s on the planet. That's the GOAT schedule. WTF are you going to do on a tuesday morning anyways? You're going to sit at home and jerk off. Having weeknights and weekends off means you have total flexibility to hang out with your friends and family

Having a steady schedule is a real plus. Working jobs such as retail where they schedule you in a way where you get worn out even if you aren't even getting 40hrs a week. I swear my job wants me to come in at 7am and work until near 7pm, sometimes later. Gets old.

Self-employed crew checking in. Some days it's 14 hours, some days it's 5, but I get to pick my hours and control my schedule. I'm most able to focus in the mornings so I use them to work on my side gig and then start my regular job at about 10ish most days. Never work any later than 6:30pm unless I decide to go back to my side gig which is all online after that.

Can't imagine working 9 hours a day mandatory where every minute is accounted for and you have to ask to take days off.

and then there's this group of self employed people who claim they enjoy working 98 hours a week (which is the vast majority of self employed people unless your daddy gave you a company that was already established)

I agree 9-5 is the GOAT schedule. I used to have to work until 10-11pm at night at my old job and the only benefit was I could do errands during the day while businesses were open. But having weekends/evenings off is 10x more better.
