Can we be honest about the flaws of American Football

Players can't tackle
Most players arn't football players, they are too specialized - a punter is a "football player"
One-position dependant
Too many ticky-tacky rules
Not enough free play
Too many delays in-game
Too much advertising
Too little actually foot on ball
Large portions of the game are boring
Lack of scoring is an issue

Dont even get me started on CFB - playoffs are voted on!! GTFO here

As a former D1 and professional player I can agree with some of these points

-Tackling has become so poor because they limit contact time at practices so players don’t work the craft enough
-Most players CAN play multiple positions but don’t because it’s not necessary if you have a large roster
-Agreed on the ticky tacky rules, they’ve hurt the game with rule changes
-The rules affect free play so agreed to an extent here
-Lol at foot on ball but it’s true 🤷🏻‍♂️
-Lack of scoring isn’t true as that’s why a lot of the rules have changed in order to have more scoring and rules heavily favored the offense, if anything this has made the game worse. Defenses can’t play hard football anymore and penalties favor the O

As a whole I still love football but with more changes being made to the sport they might as well be playing 7v7

Kids now will never know what real 2 a days were going full gear 3 hours a part live scrimmages for 2 weeks, makes them soft as duck butter

Tv timeouts kill the flow. Has nothing to do with the game though, it’s the corruption of the game by big media.

I love football but agree with a lot of this

-So hard to officiate.. you can call holding or PI on every other play
-QBs are wayyyyy too protected (running full speed at a guy and expected to not touch him when he flings the ball a millisecond before contact)
-FGs are phucking stupid and shouldn't decide outcomes
