Do you consider SNL as "propaganda"
I kinda do.
My wife loves the show, so she often pvrs it, whenever I catch parts it just comes off as one sided humor. Some of it is funny. I guess.
I used to love the show about 20 years ago. Did it change or was I just stupid at 15 years old?

100% propaganda now. anyone who says differently isn't a real fan of the show. I used to watch SNL every single week and now i'm embarrassed to even have it come on the tv as i'm channel flipping

It's walked the line for a while but was still good until people tried to call them out for not being diverse enough so they had to cram in more gays and minorities in their writing staff and cast then they became pure, whiny propaganda. Completely unfunny mentally ill liberal drivel now.

It used to be a lot funnier, and less political. We’re basically comparing old ghostbusters movie cast to the woke (semi) new movie that attempted to ride on the coattails of the original, with jokes that ended up being shallow, weak, and artless imitations of the ethos that the movie was built upon.
Original SNL had talented cast and hilarious sketches. What it is now is sad and embarrassing. And yeah, even Chappelle has done much better than his latest work on SNL. Frankly, his jokes were based on easy/lazy punchlines, and he’s usually better than that.

I don't remember ever tuning into SNL and saying "Tonight will be a great show". There are only a few bits that I loved throughout the years, but the whole show is pretty boring most of the time. Mad TV was much better IMO, specially the Key and Peele days.
At this point almost anything involving comedy on mainstream media is "LOL white people am I right?" and I can't get on board with only making fun of one race. To me that's obvious racism being pushed and I can't stand for that.

I honestly don't know anyone that watches SNL or Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Trevor Noah, or Steven Colbert etc..... How do these shows stay on the air? I'm sure their ratings must be abysmal and yet they've been on for decades.
I live in SoCal and honestly haven't heard any friends, coworkers or colleagues talk about these shows....
