Anybody get Veterans day off work?

Someone told me they got the day off work, and google tells me the same thing. But here I am at work! Like some fcking pleb. What gives?

I always did at previous employers. Assumed I did here, when people were talking about what was going on tomorrow on Nov 10th my first year I was a little disappointed.

I always ask at new companies. But it always feels good when you find out you get a day off that you normally didn't at your old job.
