What's the longest you've lived in one house?

Aside from my current scenario, I've never lived in one house longer than two years, jw what it's like. Do you feel more stable? Do you have items for a longer period of time/more nostalgic items? Idk, just feel like I've always had everything sorta ready to be packed up and ready to move with...

Aug. 1996 to Nov. 2017. Bought while under construction and sold when we retired. A really nice house, but no feels at all when we sold.

2 years at current place. I moved around a lot for work so I always changed places. I enjoyed moving each year - also helped me purge things I didn't need when I moved and give a bunch of stuff away.

But I have a feeling I'll be where I am for hopefully the next 5 years max.
