Anybody getting this tropical storm right now?

I wonder how long until my power goes out. And I still cant find a proper forecast. The one site is saying now that we will be getting 4-6 feet of storm surge. Like why didnt you tell me this **** yesterday? My elevation is 3 feet above sea level and I'm about a tenth of a mile from the gulf. Fuk.

Most cities are built on river deltas or on low lying coastal areas. Humans are retarded.

Water is essential to a lot of things especially being alive. It makes sense people live where water is at.

Power went off for a while. Not sure if I need to get ready to get out of here. Not worried about the wind too much even though its strong. I looked outside and as I did the wind gusted so hard the glass was flexing on the window and scared the hell out of me. Mostly worried about the flooding if we will get any. None of these forecasts give a straight answer and the weather radio I have is warning of flooding but said to listen to local officials on evacuation. I have heard nothing from them.

yea, chits nuts. i didn't know a THING about this storm lol.. i saw someone on here saying they were flooding in florida, and i was like hmm.. hasn't been raining that much here. seriously, not one person has talked about it that i've been around. i knew it was raining yesterday and today, but i got a text from school saying they were shutting down the rest of the week and acting as shelter

then i get 2 texts about storm surge and flooding, and 2 separate texts about tornados in my area when i'm finally like.. is this a hurricane? and sure enough there was one

i guess its path has been weird as chit and it took a sharp turn east when it was supposed to go to louisiana.

hasn't been that bad really but its by far the most storm i've seen this whole hurricane season. tons of rain and moderate wind

Its gonna get worse here in a few hours. It was pretty bad already. The weather radio alert said my area is worst flooding in 50 years so I am worried because in 2004 with charley I lived like 3 blocks away from where I am now and the storm then broke up the road into pieces and washed it away

I went for a drive to make sure I can still get out of here because there is only one road out where my house is and there is one spot that is low and has about 6 inches of water I would guess. I think I should be good cause high tide was at 10 pm so now I'm just looking at how much rain we will get. Should be okay
