Need Misc Lawyers , ded srs

Made out my Will to some low life family that I know . It’s a long story so I won’t bother you with details , but these people are scum of the earth , but we’re practically framing me in order for me to make them the executors and recipients of my estate when I pass .

Question, can I make out a new more recent Will and leave them as recipients of my home only , but allocate all my cash and investments to a single mom here in town that’s much more deserving?

I’d like to do with without my low life friends knowing that they are not receiving my cash and pensions in the Will we did previously. This Will was done without a Lawyer , but was done legitimately, as we needed three other witnesses to sign it etc.

IMO , if you have another Will which is dated newer than the previous one , and states that you want to change things around , I would have thought the most recent one would override the previous one

Not sure how Canada treats this, but you can have your will changed and notarized as often as you like in South Africa.

It's your will, you can put whoever you please in it, and leave the scum blood relatives out completely. You can appoint anyone you trust to be the executor, you do not need to let anyone in a previous will know they are being removed. There will be a clause in the will stating that all prior wills are null and void.

Have the will notarized and kept safe with a law firm/bank. Go to a lawyer, boggles my mind that you wouldn't have done that in the first place...

Father and son were pretty much going to rat me out because I didn’t get permits to do some work at my friends place when he built his man cave .
Hard to believe considering I helping this family out literally spending thousands on them over the years . I’ve found out that when your too kind, people will just continue to take more regardless of how much you help them ,creating a terrible trend.
They’re just playing me to make sure they get all my equity in the event that I die, as they know I have no family to pass it on to.
They really changed their demeanour when we made up a Will and made them the executor and recipients of my estate . A great way to keep them at bay for now , but I actually had to mention in the Will that they will not get anything if my death is deemed a homicide , and my estate will be donated to the municipality to improve the park I frequent .
Otherwise it would be difficult to sleep at night knowing someone’s always plotting to kill you.

There is a 39 year old single mom in town that has two 6 year old daughters that could really use a break in life , and ideally I’d like her to get my pensions and savings.
I would much rather see her prosper than that low life family I’m dealing with

As Lukepeter said, please go see a lawyer. In the English legal system (which has many parallels with Canada's), the outcome you desire (as stated in your original post) can be achieved, but certain formalities must be followed lest the new will be rendered void. Please see a lawyer.

In Canada all single childless men have their assets seized upon death and distributed to the refugee fund so no need to worry about a will.

But seriously just make out a new will, have it notarized and your scumbag friends don't have to know unless you or the person you are leaving it to tells them

Probably another side to the story. I doubt you're a saint who never cheated anyone.

People do take too much if you act blindly kind. Your job to act as a leader, not complain they do not act like perfect divine moral leaders from the start without your participation.
Leverage to make them want to play fair with you sounds useful.

I can think of almost no less productive causes in the world to donate to than a single mother with two daughters and not much going.

I would never give money to anyone besides my family, and I would stipulate how it goes so they cannot spend it on the wrong things. Hard to think of any cause worth fighting for before advancing your family's well-being.

Talk to a lawyer and have it changed. My parents have changed theirs several times due to children being born and passing in our family. They even wrote my sister out completely.
Once it’s changed and done, tell said chit people they aren’t getting chit and to piss off. Why keep people like that around anyway while you’re alive. If you don’t have anyone to leave your home to, you can leave it to a non-profit charity. Tell those turds to kick rocks.

sorry to hear that brother but you can probably change it however many times you want. you can probably go ahead and write it up yourself, or at least a rough draft and give it to your lawyer and let him polish it up. bingo bango bongo. I dont know what to do about yourfriendsthough. Letting them know that they are cut out might cause them to do something drastic but leading them out and letting them think they will continue to be the executors could, as you hinted towards, lead them to have you whacked (and not in the good way). Maybe you could alert the cops or something. Maybe alert John Wick.
