(srs) how do you deal with fomo?

no matter what you are doing it seems like there is always something better out there. better job, better career, hotter gf, better cities to live in, etc. E.g. you started a new job and it's going well, but you have a feeling that you could be doing something even better with your time. you could enjoy your small success, or you could keep grinding to get an even better job. or there might be a career that's more fun, better paying, has better prospects that you could be pursuing. do you ignore the feeling, or succumb to it and always be looking for the next big things (shiny object syndrome)? at what point do you stop and enjoy the fruits of your labor?

Yeah I'm not talking about ig ****, surely you have more than 1 interest and sometimes they'll conflict, and you'll have to choose which one to spend your time on
