Mr robot is a criminally underrated series

Would put it up there in the ranks with breaking bad, the sopranos etc

Cinematography, soundtrack, story, acting, mind-blowing plot twists, it basically has it all

I enjoyed it then found it became too convoluted.

Should I go back and push through or does it keep going down the abstract hole?

how far did you get through?

s2 is a bit of a slog, but it's mainly setting up plot and further character development for s3 and s4

yeh it definitely becomes more abstract after that lol

the final episodes of s4 wrap it up nicely though and almost everything that previously didnt make a huge amount of sense are finally payed off

The creator developed major TDS and brought it into the show. First season was good, rest were meh

It is definitely a solid show. Too complicated for normies to get into, but having an IT background makes it all that much better since the stuff they do would actually work in most cases. Kind of like the movie Primer. Like both were written and designed by engineers.
