Gyms Closing Again in WA State

Hold me boyos. Our governor tells us to avoid private gatherings because that’s where a lot of the spread is. Proceeds to close gyms and restaurants.

Fml. So much for being jacked for my Rio trip next spring.

I ducked out to Arizona for a few days. At least I can do a few here before I go back and slowly waste away at home. Life sucked with the gym closed at that reopening was what kept me from going insane. I was driving an hour away when those gyms reopened before mine. Mine never has more than 5 people in it either so I highly doubt there was a single instance of covid spread there.

So dumb. We’re peacing out of here the first chance we get. We don’t vote for the idiots that run the show here. It’s the low IQ minimum wage renters in Seattle the run the show for the whole state.

I think everyone came into this thread to check the location of OP. Non-Washingtonians all breathing a sigh of relief.

We Texans are extremely lucky to have Dan Patrick as our Lt Governor. He's a fierce libertarian and was loudly against the first lockdown, and pressured Gov Abbot to end it pretty early. My gym was closed from like April 1st to May 10th. Not bad compared to other states.

Yeah my bad for giving everyone a heart attack. It’s early in the morning I wasn’t thinking.

Ours was closed for about 3-4 months. After getting the endless “just 2 more weeks” and then just another month bs from our data and science fuhrer.

Sigh, I'm anticipating it.

Already been told working from home.

I called gym Friday just to make sure they were open, women I talked to acted like I was talking Chinese when I told her.

I keep telling people around here and nobody believes me.

I knew this would happen again when I started hearing Lightfoot's name saying she's making an announcement- cases are going up.

I was telling my coworkers for weeks that I believe another lockdown is coming and they didn't believe me.

Then Friday we have a meeting and they tell us work from home.
