Most men in human history didn't have any children
While it’s true that about half of all the people who ever lived were men, the typical male was much more likely than the typical woman to die without reproducing. Citing recent DNA research, Dr. Baumeister explained that today’s human population is descended from twice as many women as men. Maybe 80 percent of women reproduced, whereas only 40 percent of men did.

Thought it would be even lower than 40%

40% thought they reproduced but actually half of them got cucked. 80/20 rule strikes again.

Interesting
Interesting
some other tidbits this might not account for, though.
how does it account for cuckoldry? cause this means women could have sex with one guy but tell the other guy they're the father. in that case, the guy who actually had the sex might not be accounted for . i'm willing to bet their dna sample doesn't extend this far and there's some extrapolation from data they have in front of them
what about those who had sex but no kids?
what about the avg. lifespan and age??
undoubtedly there are a number of them that didn't have sex by choice
but yea, it's pretty well known women can have sex easier than men

Enforced monogamy in the West was the norm from ~500 AD to 1960. That's a pretty big slice of space and time, but there's still a whole world outside of it, and unfortunately it's all that most people are familiar with. Miscers, bluepillers, everyone. They've watched one scene and think that's the whole movie.

We are going back to that. Its our nature, you can mask it with religion and society's standards of whats morally correct, but eventually we will follow what is biologically programmed in our brians.
You cant change the course of the river, you may stop it for a while, you may reroute it for a while etc but sooner or later, its going to keep its course and keep flowing the way its intended to.

Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

first of all, rape was prevalent and sexual strategy men used.
also, the organization of those small groups + the travelling make it distinctly different. imagine having a group of 10 to 20 people travelling all around earth. with civilizations hardly defined keeping all groups on edge as to intruders, conquerors, etc.
THEN you also have sex for different reasons AND you don't have things like birth control
i just studied environmental science and feel like there's a good point here, but actually don't have my notes with me
like maybe a number about human birthrate throughout history, which is pretty low. i believe evidence points towards humans always keeping birth rate in check

But yeah life can be cruel. We were raised believing that everything would be perfect and all right at the end, which only makes it worse. Nature doesnt care about happiness, it just cares about keeping **** alive. Doesnt mean you cant enjoy the ride though, thats up to you
