I landed some really stupid internship IT for the first time and, and also actually working for the first time in my lifetime, and to be honest i got a really hard reality check.

As a miscer browsing this forum, it was all about LOOKS, and somehow i accepted that "truth". but i was very very wrong, and to add i always hanged with people who had absolutely zero ambition, i always thought getting a good job or getting somewhere in life would only be reserved to the privileged and because of that i never really tried.

At my first day i encountered people that were only 5 years older than me but with PhD and 20 other certificates, people that have ambitions, people who will have life on easy mode from 30 till their death. i felt mogged to death and still feel slightly depressed.

My goals are now absolutely different, don't cope saying that if you aren't white it's over, one of the guy that had the Phd wasn't even white.

To the younger folks here the reality displayed here is absolutely unrealistic and will absolutely rot your brain, always invest in yourself and you can go far in life, no matter what skin color, height, or background.

Realized I was hanging with nothing but slackers and losers around 2012. Got rid of all of them and my income doubled while savings 10x'd srs

most people are around other losers that have accomplished the bare minimum and think thats everyone, look up the pedigree of a couple CEO's for some random fortune 500 countries and try to not neck yourself out of shame

the super smart guy was around 5'4 married and 3 kids srsI think having some competition can give you some really good motivation, and having people that have accomplished something can give you some sense of hope if you are not sub 80 iqExactly, i always thought what i have done was good but just lol, there are people that would mogg you to oblivion, srs there's no excuse except if you are sub 80 iq, never in my life i thought someone can go that far. but in reality everyone can if you stick to it, the misc gives a really bad reality, i am pretty sure no one gives a phuck about looks when you are around people with PhD's,

Your first mistake was taking most of the misc seriously

Taking or not taking it, when something is repeated at you it becomes your reality, want it or not
