The first one is definitely some bachelor's paradise.

Add an island to the kitchen in the second and it won't be nearly as lame.

That was the one downside to this alpha pad. The dude bought a homosexual jeep.

Currently working on insurance for a 60+ year old guy who has 7 cars (all from the 90s) and buying his 5th rental property. In almost 9 years he's never brought up any family of his own. Engineer too.

The first one is called a "barnomenium." No kidding. It's the "in" thing lately for rural living.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

They're cheap, extremely low maintenance and basically indestructible. I understand the appeal.

That first "house" looks like the guy built it himself but he also builds garages for a living so he bought the materials in bulk and at discount over the years and did it all himself with little regard for aesthetics. It also looks like if you buy that property, you also have to deal with a coyote constantly chasing that rascally road runner, shooting off cannons, painting black holes onto the rock face and having random trains come out onto your property all day. Cant be good for resale...

It could be made to look a lot nicer with minimal effort.

Like, epoxy coat the floor or some chit.
Yeah looks like the owner works on it while he's ass up in a 12 pack.

Those are both really close to me. I have seen some incredible Barnominiums recently. The one in the 1st link looks pretty trashy though.

You think you could live out there breaking and taming horses?
