How many days off does your job give you for Holidays?
Next Wednesday is a half day for me (which is fine because I always misc until noon anyways)
- Thursday Off
- Friday Off
- Sat & Sunday off (of course)
So 4.5 days off
Christmas time is exact same schedule.
I get New Years day off, which is Friday so 3 day weekend there.
I don't think this needs to be said but I know there are a lot of tradies on this forum, yes they are paid days off.

We kind of shut down between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur (you're basically expected to check emails twice a day and respond to whatever's urgent). For Turkey day it's a half day Wednesday, off Thurs and Fri, then I think Christmas and New Years is Christmas Eve - Jan 2. Same thing, you're expected to check emails and slack a few times but certainly not on the Holiday itself. We have unlimited PTO so no one has to "use" days, it's just a given.

21 paid holidays off - they added juneteenth lmao I’ll take it
6 weeks vacation a year that can be saved up for retirement
24 sick days
7 days pre tour prep
All time off increases with seniority o still has time to go up
Right now I’m sitting on 1500 hours for retirement which will pay my medical for life and pad my pension.

Not enough. I am not cool with this new company I started with. THere is a fukk ton of chit they intentionally left out of the interview process. They screwed me out of 10k in base pay alone.

12 holidays per year, "unlimited" sick time, and "unlimited" PTO. Outside of holidays, I think I've taken 2 personal days off this year.

I work natural gas. I get Holidays off. 2 days for Thanksgiving, 2 days for Xmas, 2 days for new years, 2 days for 4th of July, labor day, memorial day plus 4 days of flexible holiday and 4-6 weeks of payed time off that I can use or roll over to following years.
I get a free 2 weeks off for pandemic leave if I claim I came into contact with covid.
I usually take 2 weeks off in the summer to go fish in Canada, and a week or 2 for elk hunting season. It's not a bad gig

Up until COVID was 5 weeks vacation which I usually ended up taking a bunch around XMas. But we're always closed day after Thanksgiving, Dec 24-26 and NYE/NY Day.

We get 9-10 days off for holidays. No paid time off but we get a massive vacation check every February that makes up the difference.
I still take days off here and there for trips. The health/fringe benefits merk every single job I've had so far

Currently on three full weeks of annual leave and still have the holliday week off in dec.
Feels good being on that Key Account time. We're all gonna make it.

I get the 12 federal holidays which during nov/dec is nov 11 (vet day), Thanksgiving+Black Friday, Christmas day and New Years day. That being said, starting tomorrow I'm off for 11 days and 16 days starting the week of christmas, and I'll still have PTO to spare.

I'll be on the bench for 3 weeks in Dec. so will probably take the 3 weeks off as well instead of pretending to work on internal firm initiatives Lol. Screw utilization.
