Lmao from 2030 big companies probably stop making them anyway. The bans on the purchase of new petrol/diesel cars, not an outright ban like, confiscation of the vehicle you already own.

But road tax will probably be rape.

Great news, I bought stocks in Fisker. Here's to hoping I can retire in 15 years.

You can't call them cucks, 99% only see cars as appliances anyway so they won't care.

as long as electric cars get auto parking by that point, I'm fine with it. Could be like Will Smith in I Robot, except British.

Watch the environmentalists start to hate on electric cars for all the battery waste in coming years. They are never going to be satisfied, we are trading one issue for another.

For anyone who doesnt know about UN Agenda 2030:

ALL cars must be electric and controlled by software by default

Corporation/govt has Over The Air capability for every vehicle on the road therefore complete control

Govt can shut your mode of personal transportation and freedom of movement (key!) down at a moments notice, for any reason they feel like making up

Thats why all of the NWO controlled western govts are pushing soo hard to ban gas cars, all about control like everything else. They want us in mega-cities without the ability to roam around the country srs, read up on Agenda 2030- be prepared to wtf as you see the parallels of whats happening right now in the west.

It'll probably be OK based on previous road tax changes. Poor people are usually the ones that have older cars and would get hit hardest so it tends to be limited based on year of production.

Couldn't care less. Cars will drive themselves soon srs. Things move forward with humanity. Gas-powered cars will eventually become relics of the past. You can't stop progress.

The ones pushing these laws forward would have to figure this schit out for sure.

Yah, countless people living in apartments or others who don't luck out in managing to park precisely besides a converted (and vacant) street lamp or their house on a busy city street full of electric cars will surely not be hindered by this

good for the environment!!!, what an ignoramous you are. You realize just one cargo container making one shipping run across an ocean burns 3-7 million gallons of super nasty heavy fuel oil. personal car "green house" emissions don't even register within the margin of error of industustrial "green house" emissions. This is about control and nothing else.

Good job leaving the EU boys. Just following the German green party.

9 years time they will still be petrol and diesel cars produced and driven. It's something bull**** politicians claim. EV costs too much and isn't efficient, biofuel is only in its infancy. Hybrids are a joke and are tokenism.

US President Barack Obama has ended plans to return astronauts to the Moon by 2020.

Bold claims are bold.

Power's going to be the hard part. Here in CA, they were projecting a need for a statewide 25% power grid increase by 2035 for 100% electric cars. Anybody who knows CA knows that PG&E are going to get their azzes sued if they try to break ground on new plants, so that will get tied up for years in court cases and environmental impact studies. Someone will pry take a look at the power generation situation in 2030 and go "oh phuck, then push the all-electric deadline back to 2040 or cancel it.

This will be what does it in... govts phucking hate investing in infrastructure, and their track record for managing big infrastructure projects when they try is pretty freaking terrible. Non-CA brahs, google the Train To Nowhere.
