This old bastard announced tonight that he's locking us back down for a *minimum* of 4 weeks. I full expect that to get extended into Uncle Joe's promised national 4-6 week lockdown starting February 1st of 2021.

I know several people who got laid off today in anticipation of the new lock down announcements tonight. Eventually, chit will keeping sliding until it fuks with a lot more of us who think we have "safe" jobs. Prior to the pandemic, my job was considered extremely safe. It still is to an extent, but since summer or so, people started getting fired for some very odd, unorthodox reasons compared to pre-covid.

I have officially swallowed the clown pill. Because this is clearly a fkn clown world we live in. Wear rags over your face and social distance and we'll avoid another shut down, they said. Masks and social distancing work, they said. It still wasn't good enough because some people went to some bars, restaurants, and gyms. However, constant massive protests/political gatherings didn't matter (unless they were conservatives. Then they were evil nazi kkk bigots causing mass covid spread).
