I find there's a happy buzz level. Like with pool and darts as well. You think less therefore you're better at stuff.

Golf for me. If I dont have 2-3 drinks and I make a bad shot I get super down on myself. After a few drinks I can get in the trench groove and just hit the ball where I want for some reason. Might be a mental thing idk but it works.

Post some end game screen shots.

Are you actually checkmating? Or are you just winning from points after stalemating?

for fook sake chess.com is down at the moment so my win streak is on pause but mostly im winning through resignation once the other player realise they've lost since in such a large point lead through pieces taken. i've got a few sneaky check mates in. none have been won on time, i play 15 min games

What's your ELO score brah? I found this to be true as well until I hit about 1200.

Once you're playing against people who know theory, I've found drunkenness to be a hinderance in 100% of cases.

Also where do you play? Prime Minister me if you want to play @ chess.com
