A coworkers parents tested positive yesterday and he was around them this past Sunday so yesterday afternoon these panickcels started having meltdowns and closed down the office and are requiring everyone to go get tested. Set an appointment for 2 hours from now.

Best part? We haven't seen this coworker since LAST Wednesday or so which was 4 days before he even saw his parents. I am so phucking tired of all these mouth breathing idiots. They were all over one another until the moment that this information was released and then everyone immediately threw on their masks and started acting like they were going to die if they even look at the person that they were standing a foot away from 10 mins prior.

I remember how much I like working from home. I have been having to driver to work for this new company for the past 2.5 months and I am about to tell them I am not going to drive in anymore.

This is actually a concern of mine. Don't want to deal with these nutjobs if I did receive a positive resultIt really pissed me off.

And because this was family related, they saw it as an opportunity to discourage spending Thanksgiving with family. I told them that it's absolutely nonnegotiable and I will be with my family 100%. I just KNOW it will be a hassle next Thursday and Friday but I've had a two week notice letter in the glovebox of my truck for a few months so I am ready to present that bish at a moments notice. this happened to a buddy... he skipped the mandatory test and went golfing. Got a call a few days later informing him he tested positive... never even showed up lmao. This is why I can't trust these numbers. Elon said he was tested four times in a day, 2 positive, 2 negative.

If I have to keep Thankgiving dinner with my parents, grandma and siblings a secret I really don't think that it's the right company to work for.....which clearly it is notIf I die in a car accident on the way to the testing facility they will just chalk it up as a corona death

At my job, they've been "screening" us for covid since like April. Every single time we set foot onto the property, they force us to have someone check our temp and ask us a slew of the same retarded symtom related questions while also showing us another list of symtoms asking if we have two or more of the specific ones listed that are apparently less specific covid symptoms.

The whole process is a complete crock of chit, and even the panicels at work admit it and joke about it. The damn bar code scanner gun style thermometers they use aren't even close to accurate. The average temps it lists people at range from 94' F - 96' F. The highest temp I recall ever being told was like 97.6 'F or some chit. Out of well over 100x I've been tested, not a single one has said it was 98.0 'F or higher. Everyone else has the same story. And we're all well aware of the fkn symptoms lists we are forced to have read off to us every damn day.

The entire thing is a huge waste of money in the name of keeping themselves clear of liability. Same thing with the mask bullchit, which my workplace got incredibly anal about months before our govenor mandate the damn things. It's all purely about liability, all the way up to the damn top dogs themselves in the governors. Even though all of the evidence suggests that "masks" do jack chit in common public use, they are afraid to go against the mainstream narratives. They want their built in excuses of chit like "Well we told you to mask up and social distance! You didn't isolate enough for damn near an entire year already! It's YOUR fault that some oldcels and a few outliers are croking from covid!!!!!!"

Our state governor was jiving on the radio about the state's claims that mask compliance is only 65%, and he blamed that for the lockdowns, claiming a 95% rate he wanted would have made the difference. I don't know how they make their statistics, but I'd say mask mandate compliance has easily been 95%+ in my area if you include every retard who wears them improperly. 65% might be more accurate if we consider people who leave their noses hanging out, etc. as non-compliant.

It's all complete bs. Political theatre at its finest. I can't imagine how insane chit is about to get at work when they tell everyone with the midlest of common cold symtpoms to go home. So sick and tired of this nonsense.

I am very close to telling my new job to fukk off already. There are other reasons but they also forced me to pay $119 for a rapid test but then they still have us sitting at home for 2 fukking weeks. Why the fukk are we paying for rapid tests then? It's also a chit show to get reimbursed for it.

My company came out with a covid policy a week or two ago saying that if someone tests positive then that person stays home for a week but the rest of the team members have to keep working until they develop symptoms. We are close quarters team.

Just came back and holy phuck what a joke. CVS testing consists of you going through the drive-thru, they hand you a test and you administer it yourself. I'm going to lose my mind if I receive a false positive because I phucked up something or didn't jam that chit far enough.

Can't help but think of the better uses for the money that is wasted needlessly testing people like myself.
