What if MLK never got killed?

How much better would this country be?
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Hardly. He supported Christian thought. He stayed clear of politics aside from civil rights passage. He and the rest of his family were all Republicans like every other black in the south at the time.

He also recognized that communism was opposed to christianity. They were incompatible.

You're confusing the fact he's celebrated without criticism in death for popularity while alive. You actually think everyone in the country celebrated MLK while he was alive? No way he would have ever become president. Way too polarizing. Strong lack of understanding how the world works.

Cool opinion. I'll stay grounded in reality. He was head of a movement where thousands upon thousands would come and listen to his rallies. Nonviolent and even after death the movement grew. Was there a level of canonization in death? Absolutely.

He was killed because he controlled the narrative despite the government attempting to quash it.

By the time the 80s would have come around the movement would still have been moving in the direction he was pushing it. Not the blithering race hustler who coopted the movement by wiping blood on his shirt as King lay dying.

You're mistaken if you think he wasnt a political force cut short far before his prime.

I'm not sure where you're going with that. There is nothing in the Bible against amassing wealth, wealth is all over the old Testament and even in many of the parables of Jesus. It's not a sin to be wealthy as long as you tithe according to scripture. What Jesus had a problem with was the moneychangers in the House of God.

MLK was a Martyr. He was a man of faith and dignity that played by the rules and therebye changed the rules even in his death. It's alarming that 40 years later some people still aren't getting the point.

He was about as much of a communist as you are a Christian and that angers you.
It would be a Christian to use the exact same argument against a system as the guy they're accusing of supporting that system.
