Most unexpected reaction to telling a girl I’m a cop

Was out last night. (Friday in Australia) Met 18 year old slot and she asked what I do for work. Told her I’m a cop. She started yelling ACAB. Then all of her friends started yelling ACAB. I can’t believe telling someone your a cop gets the reaction it does. Risking my life for these sloots day to day and that’s the reaction I get? Just lol. ( still secured the bag)

Im terrible at lying so I’m just straight up with people. I accept that my job is gonna be off putting to some people but if they’re that single minded that they have to immediately stereotype me because of my profession I probably don’t want to associate with them anyway.

Well, I haven’t been single in years, so I haven’t been in your exact situation in a long time. But if I’m getting a haircut or something and they ask, I usually just make something up like I work for the state, or work in retail, or just whatever pops into my head. Even businesses that give police discounts, I never mention it. The company might support police, but that doesn’t mean the employee I’m taking to is. I don’t wear any type of police clothing or anything that would suggest that I’m a cop if I’m off duty

Actually they do decide which laws to enforce.

And they do decide whom to enforce it on, whom to give a warning or lesser offense, and whom to look the other way.

I actually understand why they are allowed these abilities.
