Don't use the testers, get it sprayed on your skin. It will smell different because it will react with your natural oils srs, you want to know what it will really smell like on you.

I tend to rotate a few of the Tom Ford private blends - Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille (girls LOVE these if that's what you're looking for), Neroli Portofino, Mandarino Amalfi. I tend to buy a selection of decants - I don't think I'd ever buy a full sized bottle. It would last so long I'd get bored of it.
