Just watched Parasite and Snowpiercer. Holy chit

Fuuuuark, two of the best movies I´ve seen. Highly recommend if you haven´t seen them. Both from the same director

always thought it was ironic that Curtis was reeeeing over them being fed insects (which are actually a good source of protein and probably ideal in such a situation) and then goes on to reveal he used to eat babies

I’m convinced everyone is too afraid to admit what a chit movie it is. Whole premise of an incompetent family who can’t fold a pizza box correctly can become genius con artists with a couple hand waving montages is fuking retarded. Entire rest of the movie is trope after trope with the inane “shocking” party scene. It was pretty cinematography wrapped around a pile of dog chit and bad acting.

Cool. I agree that the ending could have been better, but it was a highly enjoyable movie.

it's one of my favorites too but most people here will only know about the tv show which was horrible and especially if you understand all the symbology behind the movie.

I mean if you think about it the baby is a much better nutritional profile compared to anything else.

I enjoyed Snowpiercer, though Parasite was OK, but didn't live up to the hype for me.

If you enjoy Bong Soon Ho's work check out one of his earlier films The Host.

Check out Memories of Murder. One of Bong Joon-Ho's earlier films, very good police investigation film.

Also The Wailing, The Chaser and Train To Busan as well if you enjoy Horror / Thrillers.

Interesting. Didn't know they made a Snowpiercer tv show. Shame to hear it's doesn't live up to the movie but I might still check it out just because of how great the movie was. I'd be interested to see what more they can add to the story.

Havent seen parasite but snowpiercer could have been better if t werent for the weird, out of place elements that were peppered throughout. Like:
-tilda swinton's character. Just seemed really out of place since she was the only british character that i recall at the moment (maybe other than john hurt).
-The egg scene and the guy passing out the eggs. Seemed like the scene was more for visual jarring than the overall psychological effects
-The scene where the soldiers and the people from the back of the train fight but they stop to do the new years countdown. lol wut?

Chit just seemed weird as fuk and took the movie into random directions that took away form the plot

Yeah, I kinda agree with that, but still an awesome movie imo.

It´s very enjoyable and unique. Watch it and make your own decision. Had me glued to the screen all the way.

Earth is too cold to live on, so the last remaining of humanity are stuck on a long train that circles the earth. The lower class are in the back of the train and need to fight their way out of opression. Lots of violence and a good plot. Chris Evans was great in it.

The less you know about the movie, the more enjoyable it will be to watch. Same with Parasite
