bruce lee would break his legs. the range of a kick is so much longer than what boxers can do

if anyone here actually performed a side kick before you would know how deadly and fast that **** is. if u never performed it... the reach is way longer than you would think

Tyson's 5'10", Lee was 5'7".

I'd say Lee has a good chance for agility and fight IQ unless Tyson gets one of his punches to land properly, he was a phucking monster.

definitely would not be certain. it would be a difficult fight. ur underestimating the kick. especially one by a professional martial artist. if you've never gone against someone who can kick well, then ur in for a surprise in a fight. right now i could probably keep someone who doesn't know how to fight, away with just kicks. doesn't matter their size or weight. i wouldn't even have to get close, it would just be kick and kick, or feint and kick and it's done. tyson would be in a whole different game

i train mma bruh i spar, i don't underestimate tyson, he's a thinker/strategist, it's just the kick is deadly as fuk. i would not want to fight someone who can kick at a professional level. bruce lee breaks tyson's kneecap and it's over, lands a kick behind his leg or something. the range of the kick is way longer and it's fukin fast

Guys blow out their knees in fights often and can continue fighting. You are badly discounting what 80 pounds of functional extra weight can do. Tyson isn't going to just stand around at kicking range. Trying to kick a guy that is big and fast just lands you on your back and getting mauled.

If Lee can manage to get a solid kick to the knee or groin he has a chance. But I'd say 99% of the time Tyson would maul him. Wouldn't underestimate Lee because of his lack of size tho, he could hit pretty hard and was incredibly quick.

Mike Tyson was one of the greatest boxers of all time, with arguably one of the strongest punches in the game, and more speed than anyone his size has any right to be. He got into real fights growing up, and his career was actual fights vs other trained people. He has actual fighting experience, and dominated.

I take the guy who spars/competes over anyone, regardless of martial art or sport... so Tyson by a long shot.

The reason why boxers/muay thai/MMA/wrestlers/BJJ are so effective is that they regularly practice at full intensity. Things like Taekwondo/Karate can be equally effective in real life fighting if trained in a similar way... but people can do TMA's for decades without taking a genuine beating and don't develop any proper self defense skills.
