I've always been into gardening, helping my dad with his tomato plants when I was a kid, but when I bought my house in South Florida a few years ago I really started going wild. I have about a 3,000 square foot backyard and more patio space around my pool for my potted plants and a few things planted in my front yard. I bought/planted everything in the past three years, so some stuff are still relatively young and could take another couple years before fruiting heavily. Here's what I got:

- Three fig trees, two in pots and one in the ground. Got nice crops from all of them already.
- Alphonso mango tree. The unanimous best mango variety in the world. No fruit yet.
- Sweetheart lychee. No fruit yet
- Blue Java "ice cream" banana tree bunch. First bananas just showed up last week.
- Papaya tree. Harvested probably around 100 papayas.
- Minnealo "honeybell" tangelo tree. Got one really good fruit, still waiting for a full crop.
- Jabuticaba tree. Got it last week so still small. Google this fruit, it's crazy looking on the tree.
- Mulberry tree. Keeping it in a pot, got a handful of small but sweet fruit.
- Passionfruit vine. Harvested about 20 passionfruits so far.
- Muscadine grape vine. Harvest a few bowls worth.
- Blackberry vine. Harvested a few handfulls.
- Five pineapple plants, all grown from cutting off the tops of pineapples and planting them. No fruit yet.
- Miracle fruit. Google this. After sucking on a berry, it makes everything that's sour taste sweet for an hour. Still waiting for the berries to bloom.

Any problems with animals eating your stuff?

Passion fruit juice is goat. didn't know you whites ****ed with them tho

Only real problems I've had were birds eating my figs and a certain beetle devouring the leaves on my lychee tree. I now wrap the fig branches in bird netting when the figs ripen and I'm managing the beetles with some chemical pesticides.

In my back yard we have 7 fiejoa trees, loquat, plum, apple, fig, red quava, macadamia, 2x lemons, grape vine and a lime tree.

Mirin you tropical fruit especially, i am sub tropical so mangos/bananas etc dont grow well
