What does your diet look like?

With gyms reopening very soon in the sunny UK it's time for me to stop being a slovenly glutton and once more think about what I put in my body. Looking for dietary inspiration.

Cheers

Standard Diet
2-3 lb. red meat
12 eggs

Bulking Diet
3-4 lb. red meat
24-36 eggs

My body/digestive system has a rough time with veggies and carbs. Tried numerous times to do the standard BB diet chicken, veggies, oats, rice, sweet potato and don't react well to it. Probably going to a doctor soon and see why that is

Keto and intermittent fasting work for me. I’ve lost 25lbs and feel absolutely incredible. Try it srs There’s way more benefits than just weight loss.

IF for most of the day, then bird meat, eggs and liquid egg whites, fake meat (beyond meat or lightlife). carbs from veges (brocoli and mushrooms mostly, bell peppers and types of squash also), rice (white), low calorie bread that's like 35 cals a slice so I eat a fukton of it, beans, waffles, then something like greek yogurt or an occasional skinny cow icecream sandwich before bed.

It's pretty much always the same kind of thing, albeit more 'relaxed' now. I've been giving the 'maintenance' lifestyle a try since I finished my last cut end of June and it's been going much better than I anticipated.

Basically, I stick to my staples and aim to make creative meals using these staples. I've brought back in processed wheat like breads and pasta. When I was cutting, I kicked processed wheat entirely, and instead focused on getting my complex carbs from beans, peas, lentils, oats, rice, and potatoes.

Now, my staples are as follows:

Lean protein sources like chicken and turkey breasts, extra lean ground meat, sometimes pork loin
Complex carbs like whole grain breads and pastas, potatoes, and sweet potatoes
Peanut butter
Sometimes I'll have fruit or high-protein granola bars during the day
Green, fibrous veggies with each meal

I've been following an IF lifestyle for almost a decade. I eat a large meal around noon, something small mid afternoon, and another large meal at 7pm. Works great for me and my schedule.

Lots of black coffee in the AM, just water in the PM. No fluids after 8pm or else I have to wake up to piss in the middle of the night and I really hate that.

I'll have the occasional cake now and again. I really don't drink alcohol at all anymore. I'm lucky if I have 1 beer a month, if even.

EDIT: IF wizard above, repped my friend

I had a manager once in a restaurant several years ago, his name is Tom (I hope he still lives cuz he was a decent fellow).

He once said to me with an upside down frown... "I got diarrhea" Pretty much this. (not to say I eat chit, but when you eat bad food, loose poops just sorta happen, also if you drink a lot of apple juice, so I've heard.

And cuz I've been subsisting on frozen nearly dog-food.

Seriously though I cut soy out completely (man boobs almost gone btw), and even though it supposedly can lead to cancer cuz of the animal fat I've been oven cooking chicken thighs and drumsticks with both the bone and skin and I even eat the cartilage (chewing it up bigly) because I figured intuitively and I read it helps joint regeneration.

Also lots of potato's and homegrown veg though we're on a downstat since it's nearly winter though I'm in a zone 10a so gonna be planting brassicas and lettuces, kale, swiss chard and collard greens. Already got a few started but gonna try to get more before spring comes in.
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

Keto with 3x~40 hour fasts/week.

I fast on Mon, Wed, Fri. From dinner the night before (5-6ish), to breakfast the next day (9ish).

On the days I eat I get about 1900 cals, >20g of carbs, ~105 g of fat, and ~120 g of protein.

I drink about two cups of coffee in the morning, and a cup of tea with lunch and dinner.

I supplement certain vitamins and get additional sodium through things like broth.

For specific foods, eggs, lunch meats, bacon, turkey sausage, chicken, pork, and beef every way they can be cooked (roast, ground, chops, grilled, etc), cheese, any and all low carb veggies I can get my hands on. That pretty much sums it up.

Man, now that I’m typing this I’m wondering why there isn’t any fish in my diet regularly. Well, gotta fix that.
