Tradional T-Giving food is kind of groce

let's face it there is a reason why most of us only eat thanksgiving food on one day of the year

any casserole looks and tastes like a bunch of ugly veggies glued together with jizz? Candy yams wtf is that? Cranberry sauce? cranberries are literally the most disgusting of all the berries. All three of these deserve to be rotting in a jail cell

and the main attraction "turkey" is usually dry and bland tasting brb need to slather it with gravy and mash potatoes to make it edible

inb4 y'all accuse op's mom/grandma/wife not knowing how to cook good food

False.

You're just really cherry picking some shytty things (and actually the first two aren't even bad).

Not sure if trolling by bashing one of the greatest meals of the year, or by posting diversimaxxing pic.

If srs it’s probably just because your mom, grandma, and wife don’t know how to cook.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Never had casserole or candied yams at Thanksgiving srs. They look like dog chit. My family always makes turkey (hnnng), mashed potatoes, stuffing (mega hnnng), cranberry sauce and a salad.

All of those are pretty good, but we also have a number of side dishes. This year was pasta with sausage, braciole, polpettes (Sicilian meatballs) and an assortment of cheeses, olives and cured meats. That’s my favorite part.

It's all very good if made properly and with the right seasoning.

It's gross if not made properly.

One year I made a turkey with mideast spices, and it was amazing.

Another year, I was visiting and they needed gravy made and I made mine with garlic, etc and people loved it. They were used to gravy that's just flour and fat with no flavor.

It's all how you make it.

ITT: OP realizes he and his family can’t cook. I feel for you. You won’t ever experience a great thanksgiving until you learn how to cook or get a chick who’s family knows how to cook.
