The path forward
I've never had a problem getting women, but it seems every year that goes by there's less and less of them that have any sort of reasonable ethics; perhaps it's always been this way. I have married women or women in relationships trying to sleep with me. I've watched Women throw away multi-year relationships because they were "bored". There seems to be no incentive to build a long term relationship or family unit. Hedonism runs rampant, it provides only enough to keep you chasing that high. Each time you capture that fleeting feeling you fall deeper into despair; the only escape is the slow arduous path.
Men aren't entirely free from this indifference to morality. I personally refuse to entertain any sort of behavior deemed unacceptable by myself. Not to play a role of a Martyr, but because I know as small as my role in my community is; it's still a role I must live by.
Shaming people and accountability needs to have a resurgence. The narrative in current society is to be as hedonistic and care free as you can. This is the lowest form of human existence. Hard work, sacrifice and loyalty should underpin our society.
There are obviously many variables that contribute to the current narrative. Everybody points the finger at something (technology, feminism, ect.). As men, we must take responsibility and reforge the narrative to be one that is filled with self-responsibility, loyalty and community. We can do this by simply living by those standards ourselves. Remove yourself from the hedonistic tentacles and adopt the stoic philosophy as your guide.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
