Anyone notice their social battery drains all the time?

Was on call or working on call while not talking much in a “virtual work room” all day.

I feel physically and mentally fresh but a part of me mentally feels drained. Same feeling I get if I talk too much over the course of several hours.

I don’t have an issue with any of my coworkers. They’re all super nice , non toxic but I still feel fukking exhausted in a way.

Anyone else have this happen to them? How do you extend battery life?

This has always been an issue for me. It's called being introverted.
It was all just satire. Sorry if I offended anyone with my trolling and sickening posts. Peace and love to everyone.

I 100% understand where you're coming from OP.
I consider myself an extrovert but I sometimes dread the idea of leaving the house and meeting people, once I'm there, I'm the life of the party but the before and after is very telling. It feels taxing on your mental/physical.

IDK what to do to increase it, sorry OP but I relate

Tmrw:

9am *insert current client name* auditor morning huddle
10am *insert client name from last week spillover work* Specific discussion
1pm *insert client name from last week spillover* general audit update with team
4pm *virtual coffee connect*

I love the culture here but sometimes I’m exhausted. No ones fault but my own.

I like going out with people and such, but afterwards I need alone time

People mistake introversion for being anti-social

Introverted just means you need to "recharge" after socializing

If I had a whole night of drinking and hanging with the boys you can guarantee I aint talking to anyone the next day

It's a mix of being an introvert and also running into extroverts.

There are some people who literally just can't stfu and enjoy some silence. Those people will be especially draining.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

interesting because I scored ENTP on the Myers Brigg.

I was a tech recruiter and had to talk to ppl on phone calls all day. felt drained by the end of my work shift.

Think people get burnt out of socializing regardless of introversion or extraversion.
