Can you at least stop calling it fake?
Or a hoax. Whatever.
Maybe you believe that the pandemic is overblown. Or that the government is handling it badly. Or that it was released by or being used by some cabal to advance a new world order.
Whatever you believe a lot more people are dead than usual.
Calling it fake or a hoax is a pretty crummy reply to anyone who is ill with it, has a relative who is hospitalized, or friends/family that have died.
The US is closing in on 275,000 dead. That is closing in on the total casualties of multiple wars combined omitting WWII (more than three and a half years) and the Civil War (4 years; prior to modern medicine) - 278,854.
Yes, the elderly and unhealthy are more at risk of dying. I doubt that is any comfort to their families. Some very fit and healthy looking people are dying earlier from it too.

Can we stop quoting those numbers. The majority of those covid deaths had other underlying issues. I would hardly attribute covid played a significant part in the majority of the deaths that occurred. It has a survival rate of over 99% for 70 and under. And the average lifespan of human is like mid 70s. Why are we even taking this chit serious?
Also, so many tests have been proven to generate fake positives. Those numbers are not reliable at all and its annoying how no one addresses this

I know of three people irl who have died from it and quite a few more so had to go to hospital. My coworkers wife is hooked up to a ventilator rn. Stupid to call it fake at this point

It's not as dangerous as people are making it out to be and is being used as a political tool.
People bring up numbers but they dont bring up the number inflation and how Flu deaths are pretty much non-existent now because they are being classified as Covid. I believe all overall deaths are lower than normal right now.

I just think people are cognizant of the damage to the economy with such widespread and strict lockdown measures.
There needs to be a better way where we don’t bankrupt small business while protecting those at risk.

Markus Paul of the Dallas Cowboys has not been listed as a COVID death yet that I'm aware of (it's listed as a Non-COVID medical emergency). Cause of death is pending. Not a great article to use for your point here when many believe that lots of deaths are being attributed to COVID when in reality an underlying health factor was the real cause, the person just happened to test positive for COVID.

We are looking at massive wealth transfers/inequities, high unemployment, money just being pissed away from the government like candy, increased government dependency, etc. It makes no sense that they are locking down Gen Z'ers and millenials, these will be the generations that will feel the full brunt of these lockdowns for years to come in an era where boomers already hold most of the wealth.
