Coincidentally its also related to having a lot less friends IRL as well. Man that felt great to know personally. Really really smart people tend to have like ZERO friends and don't think its for Machiavellian or manipulative reasons either, its just hanging around dumb people is draining.

How are you measuring the "intelligence"? Via a Stanford-Binet test? Notwithstanding this, "High intelligence" (assuming this was determined via test score) does not suddenly mean the person is an innovative genius who will "change the world". They may just end up being a trash collector or starring in gay porn movies or being a middle-tier sports star lol

This is accurate. They also have less children. And this is not good for the future of mankind. Western nations should be promoting fertility amongst it's native citizens. But they don't. Instead its slooting without consequences, import a ton of third worlders because that gdp has to grow forever and ever.

You're half-right, However, good social skills are important in the modern world. They can also be indispensable in networking. Good social skills can also go hand in hand with "high intelligence" (again, this is vague - a test score or a wide range of measurements?) Someone who goes to Harvard and graduates from there without making any friends or networking isn't going to get very far in life, even with familial connections. The only time you may see exceptions would be with specific scientific researchers in specific skills who are laser-focussed in their niche area and are quickly plucked into their niche area...

stuff seems to go back and forth.

doesn't success supposedly correlate with iq? which is why people parrot it? i know someone will suggest there's a threshold. where there's like a sweetspot and the more you deviate it the more you're outlier.

but idk how you could support the aforementioned (iq=success), then think it doesn't extend toward avenues like making friends. would seem weird to me "success" would include alienation, as though strictly professionally, but maybe it does. guess it depends both on how you define success and intelligence

however, i would def. attribute being social more to EQ. having both eq and iq would be the highest of the high; from that, i also don't know why it would seem implausible if someone had this great skill (intelligence) they couldn't then turn it around to use socially

Less intelligent people don´t usually think too much. They go out and socialize instead. When you are more intelligent than 95% of humans, it´s easier to isolate oneself.

That’s why east asian countries with the highest average IQs have the lowest fertility rates

That being said is it really brag worthy? Humans only purpose is to reproduce and keep the human species thriving

I do think things like social media and dating apps have thrown eugenics into the equation and a majority of people either can’t find a partner or don’t measure up to others standards because of it

It's not as clear cut as that.

Individuals who are extremely successful (disregarding, for a moment, other factors such as luck etc) could be so due to a number of factors such as intelligence, social skills, networking etc

It's never as simple as "herp derp, I'm really intelligent, everybody is dumb"

How do we now they ("East Asian countries") have the highest average IQs? Are we basing this on specific test scores of test groups? And what does that translate into? How are we weighing countries up? GDP? Infrastructure? Healthcare? Technological advances? Are we going to manually count the number of patents and correlate this via nationality and/or ethnicity? Which country has the most patents registered in it, which are registered in the names/companies of nationality/nation. Are we then correlating countries with the higher average IQs with success? How are we measuring this success on a whole? Living standards? Etc etc

That’s why I’m careful not to categorize IQ as an absolute metric of intelligence

Only low IQers think high IQ in a society means innovative/pioneering discoveries

In reality IQ tests are just a different version of standardized tests like the SAT srs

But you can’t deny that countries like japan have made the greatest leap in economic growth over the past 20 years. That doesn’t happen unless the general population is highly educated and doing high IQ things

That's a wide range of people and most aren'tspecificallyliving to "solve the world's problems". This isn't a movie. Some folks are just doing what they're interested in; others are there for a paycheck and are in their comfortable niche area - a wide variety of reasons. Many folks may spend decades in their niche area and indeed achieve some progress, but advances are never down to one individual - it's usually groups of individuals (teams, even) building on previous research and study etc and continuing this and then the public sees the advances but doesn't really appreciate the decades of work that has gone into it via several waves of different groups of people...

Yeah, it's best not to generalize regarding "IQ" as most folks around the world haven't even taken an official "IQ" test lol

High number of sexual partners would only be a good thing if the average Woman was attractive, likeable, charming and intelligent.

That's clearly not the case, therefore there is no inherent value or braggable quality to a high numbers of sexual partners.
