Do you kill insects in your home or put them outside?
I was inspired by another users post in another thread, Legendsneverdie
I myself use my cordless vacuum to catch and kill anything in my home, if its near the door I might try and get it out.
Am I awful? My wife agrees with my methods we also try to kill bugs outside like flies and misquotes with traps.
Currently rethinking life though
What do you do misc?

It depends on what it is.
Inside Lizard spider mosquitos and cockroach? That ****er is dying
If something less dangerous to me / family I’ll try and get it out.
If outside I don’t fuk with it unless it’s a snake or spider in my garage. That fuker is dying then. Killed a snake last week. Fuk!!

Nice thread. I use to kill insects years ago when they were in my home, when i got older i said to myself "This is kind of cuked" and stopped killing them.
IF my home were infested with roaches, i would probably lay down poision to get rid of them.
Edit: I agree vasskon (see post above)

Depends on the type and where they are. I have a deal with them, don't go where I am sitting, near my food, on my towels etc. That's instant elimination. If they are skirting around the perimeter then I might open the door and give them a pardon.

I capture them and make them fight in an insect arena. I douse the winners with radioactive americium-241 that I take out of smoke detectors because I'm going to create an army of mutated insect gladiators. So far the triumphant battlers have all simply died but I'm not losing faith in the process.
Most people I explain this to laugh but I never saw anyone laugh at a guy with an army of super-powered warrior cockroaches so yeah.

I tend to let them be unless they bother me. Big flies and Crane flies usually die because they have an annoying habit of flying right at you. But since I gotten a cat no bug lives long in my house, it's only a matter of time before he finds them, tortures them then eats them, even flies he'll jump and catch them out of the air.

if they're big I catch them in a container and release them. If they are small and trash like Mosquitoes, roaches etc they die. Spiders I leave alone unless they are like dime size, then I catch and release.

I stomp roaches cuz they are nasty and crickets cuz you can't catch them and they are annoying af, spray ants with Windex cuz they are nasty and get everywhere, let spiders live with me cuz they are one of my spirit animals. Currently have at least 5 spiders mostly in the downstairs bathroom. I do sometimes break their webs though to discourage them and just to keep things tidy.
Flies get zapped, moths I try to ignore but stomp sometimes. gnats... IDK what to really do about, maybe I should get a Venus flytrap.
On the other hand sometimes with flies and such I open a door and try to coax them to just leave. I don't like killing but sometimes you gotta.
Mosquitos get clapped if possible. I heard mint discourages them so I'll rub some of that on me when in the backyard.
Mice get the trap. (I know not an insect, nor are arachnids but they're both kinda pests even though spiders can catch the flies, but yea, unwanted animals can bug, pun intended).

Flies (mainly during muggy summer periods) I primarily try and release through the window, otherwise it's crushing quickly or bug spray.
Large spiders (by UK standards) I trap with a glass and release outside. Example image below (WARNING FOR ARACHcels)

Biggest problem I've had with spiders lately is walking through their webs which is just kinda a tickly annoyance. October is when it happens a lot, no wonder they are used in Halloween decorations so much.

I pretty much kill them all except spiders and lacewings, which get a pass because they help me kill all the others, and daddy long legs, for no good reason. I just like them. Anything that looks like a black widow or a brown recluse dies, though. My husband was bitten by a recluse a couple years ago and it was really nasty.
Mice I kill, but I always vaguely regret that they can't just mind their own business and stay out of my food.

Centipedes and cockroaches. I use to try and sweep cockroaches outside using a broom but they fly at you sometimes so I said fuk that and spray them. But rarely see cockroaches in the house.

I use to let spiders live. I saw a spider in my house, small, thick, black, hairy looking. I let it live.
Then one day I woke up with a red 'pimple' on my calf. It dissolved the flesh to a dime size and @1/4" deep. I searched spider bites and yah, that's what it was. That little spider I let live bite me and caused a permanent scare. I lost flesh. I can't even imagine if that bite happened on my face.
Now I kill every damn bug I see, especially spiders. I bug bomb every 3-4 months the whole house and garage. I see a spider, I stomp it.

I save every one except for ticks on my dog. Not only do I kill them, but I make them suffer (srs).
One of the dumbest things I've ever bought is a "my critter catcher" after seeing an infomercial. But it is one of the best things I've ever bought. Use it several times per week and allows me to release bugs outside unharmed.
