Dropped my iPhone X into the ocean yesterday while kayak fishing. Potato move but it was bound to happen eventually.

Now, I need to get a new phone but all the plebs cleared out the 12 Pro's during black friday and local stores only have the 12 Pro Max. Are they phucking massive? I have bigger hands than most but I still don't want to carry an iPad around all day. Before anyone says it, no stores within 50 miles of my location have a 12 Pro Max on display so I can see the size before buying.

BestBuy gives you the option of returning phones within 14 days for a $45 restocking fee. Might just buy the Pro Max and return it once they get the smaller Pro's in stock.

I used to love "BIG" phones, cause in my head im thinking "omg big screen, think of all the activities" like its the step brother movie.

then not being able to use the phone single handed just became tiresome. need to press a button on the other side, but only got one hand free, can't unless do it if you are holding the phone, you gotta put it down then move your hand over.


i held the iphone 12, and even the iphone 12 mini and they are perfect size if you want a one handed phone. Its more important to me now instead of larger screen real estate.

It's not too big in slacks/jeans/shorts?Actually wouldn't mind this one but I take quite a bit of pictures so I figured the upgrades cameras on the Pro's may be worth the price?This is my exact concern. I don't want to be required to use my cellphone with two hands like its a tablet

The edge to edge screen makes it manageable. (Yes the notch needs to go). 7+ or whatever that still had the home button and space at the top were a waste.

I've looked at the mini and just the 12 but I need the Max. Just do too much to have a smaller screen anymore personally.

Interesting people wanting a one handed phone.. seems to me that'd only really be good if driving.. when you shouldn't be using a phone anyways.. lewl.

Not for me. I carry it all day in my pocket, don't have any problems. And I have an otter box on it.

Getting the Pro Max cuz of the cam mainly. I like to go trekking and concerts. Pro Max got the best cam for moving objects and night. Plus great zoom. If cam aint important, get the regular 12 or even mini.

Yet they want large cock. Women are weird.

I play a decent amount of mobile games, and obviously on landscape games you are using two hands to play, but there are a lot of vertical holding games. I aint tryna use two thumbs, doesn't feel right. Another benefit I like is with swype style of texting/typing. being able to use one hand/finger to text is game changing.

Thank you men. I bought the Pro Max and will be picking it up shortly. Might turn out that I love it but worst case scenario is that i'll have to pay the $45 restocking fee in two weeks if I trade it for a 12 Pro.

I had both. Pro was nice but I like a big screen, visually can see more, as well as pro max has very very slightly better qualities when it comes to videos and photos

You get used to a big phone after a while. Pro was just too small for me but it was nice having it so easily fit in my pocket and hand

Picked up the 12 Pro Max last night and I already love it. It'll take a few days to get used to the size difference between this and my old X but it shouldn't be an issue. The camera is a drastic improvement and I think definitely worth the up charge if you use your camera frequently. Repped all that I could ITT, will get the rest on recharge.

Which color did you get? The Pacific Blue looks cool but damn, everyone is getting it.

I got the graphite, couldn't believe how limited the inventory is right now. No ATT or Best Buy within 60 miles had anything besides the Pro Max in Graphite available for immediate pick up. My GF upgraded to the 12 Pro in Pacific Blue at the beginning of November and it just arrived last week. The blue actually looks great in person but I use a case that completely covers the back so it's not a big issue for me.

Lol at the hippies with iPhones, get a better phone with half the price - samsung.
