Humans have barely inhabited the Earth. If we live long enough we will see extinction events, ice ages, and a lot more. Eventually water will be a serious issue, and photosynthesis will cease well before the Sun starts swelling.

Look @ the panic and disregard for order over a virus that only kills 0.3% of all those it infects. Would be utter chaos if the world had no electricity for like a few weeks.

i have a couple old computers stored in a homemade faraday cage so i will still be able to play a few games from the early 2000s (campaign mode) as least for as long as i can obtain deisel guzzeline, so im not too worried about a solar flare lol

No you're forgetting how remarkable this species is. The small % responsible for our evolution need to move on from this planet. Imagine a species that is smart enough to be self-aware, space travel, develop and discover music, invent the micro chip, create robots, to know so much about the Universe etc.

Imagine for a second every trace of humanity is wiped out and we were truly the mos intelligent species in the Universe? No somehow we have to continue. Scary that the answer of whether we make it to another solar system is already there in the future. I wish we could be alive to find out, even if it was bad news.

It could come to a point where we cannot survive or evolve fast enough to travel the interstellar distances we need. It's very possible we can just be blockaded, then our only minuscule hope to continue is exist before our planet is consumed is to send out as many probes as possible containing all records, genetics samples of our species that maybe another intelligent lifeform will discover.
