From a utilitarian perspective, 5’7-5’10 would be the sweet spot. But my ego prefers taller.

The only practical use in everyday life to being taller would be reaching higher shelves

IRL though if you are 5'10 you are tall and IMO peak height.

5'8 - 5'9 is regular dude

5'6 - 5'7 are basically short stops but mostly acceptable

anything under is just short

Good observation. Being tall satisfies the ego, but it has dealt me a few posture issues. Also talking to shorter (see:most) people you can slouch as you naturally try and align with their eye level.

I'm 5'10", so 5'11" or 6'0". Any taller and you're obnoxiously tall. Life is made for the average height.

You obviously are a manlet and don’t know what it’s like to be a tall man. I was close to 6’2 out of bed a couple of decades ago. You always get called out for your height and you look like a freaking idiot with your long arms and legs. Have you seen a tal guy walking with a high cadence? Looks like a horror movie scene ROFL

Also, I prefer off the rack clothes. Almost every brand cuts their clothes for the 6-6’1 man. However, some brands have shorter inseams now.

For a while I thought 6’1 would be ideal but I think 6’4 would be perfect. At that point you are quite tall but not abnormally tall and it’s not so tall that you’ll start having knee problems and stuff like that.

Anything under 6'5 is going to be too small in a few years.

6'6 is a decent average height that you will never really be called short
