Countless studies exist which show that trading on futures phucks with the value of the underlying commodity and at the very least significantly increases pricing volatility.
Strong morality to do that with water, which unlike gold or some other fiat, actually provides direct value to people's lives. But it's in California though so I can't be completely appalled.
