Imagine you’re a 30 something professional in the IT/law/finance space

Lots of disposable income

You’ve already outsourced most of your tasks in life (car servicing, laundry picked up and dropped off once a week, eat most meals out or order in, cleaner once a week)

At what point do you just start paying for an hour of some girl’s time a couple of times a week

Brb no time wasted on tinder etc

A lot of busy professionals already do this, and have been doing this for a long time.

I do think the next tinder or social media dating app will need to have some extreme filtering.

Sure there’s overlap but in my scenario:
-you are not under any pretense of a relationship
-purely transactional for a defined service, just like the house cleaner or the laundromat. No “gifts” or dinners etc

Many young professionals don’t have time to do these chores. Both I and my wife have demanding careers so we have our laundry done, cleaners, even dog walkers if we go out after work. For a single well-off guy that doesn’t have time to waste, this could be the next logical step

Despite prostitution being the oldest profession in the world it's still frowned upon in society.

The average person thinks only old lonely men and ugly incels visit escorts when that's not always the case. The vast majority of an escorts client base are usually successful married middle aged men or young decent looking guys who just want a quick pump and dump.

^^^was wondering this. There are a lot of young successful and regular-looking dudes at my work who could easily get women but they’re single and never, ever talk about any girls they’re seeing or anything. Frankly for some of them I legit wonder where they’d find the time for “dating”

Its not necessarily only about time and resources, its just that the average woman is too high maintenance when it comes mental health and rate of return x effort invested...also most of the times wasn't even worth.

In 2020 we are in an historical low when it comes of the quality of the average woman from whatever point of view you do the analysis.

As if that wasnt enough there are so many things that could go wrong if you happen to have any quarrel that the pros are much less than the cons.

The only ones going for it from the right angle are young good looking guys with no wealth or job, they can usually date from a better position.

The average man is starting to react cutting the commitment while the wise guys like the profiles OP talks about are way forward.

There is a theory that the economy will soon be two-tiered. The high earners at the top, and the second tier who's job it is to serve the first tier. No middle class at all.

I can see where this scenario could come to pass, and College girls will all do "Sugar Daddy" type arrangements as an accepted from of income, along with selling their young eggs for some rich man that will artificially fertilize and grow it in an artificial womb so he can have a child and heir.

Historically I can understand. Even as late as 2010 if you had a job in finance, law or IT, average or above looks, in-shape and could carry on a conversation, you were god-tier in the dating market

Based on the threads I see now, in 2020 that’s not even enough to get a “hey” from some 2/10- then comes the jesterMAXXXXXing

When I first started seeing escorts back in 2017 I never told anyone IRL, not even close friends. I pretty much kept it a secret for 2 years. I did tell them stories about girls I smashed but never disclosed that I payed for it.
