Been with my wife for 15 years on January 2nd. Been married since March of this year. Waited 10 years to propose, lived with her 8 of those years. If THAT was society's "Norm" in regards to relationships, marriage's wouldn't fail so often. Sure, you can do other things to make you happy, but if you're going to blackpill yourself on marriage, or not even just marriage, but relationships, then there are probably other aspects in life that you will blackpill yourself on. Its pure pessimism.

Not saying that marriage is for everybody, but these kind of threads always stem from something. A gf is like any other relationship, so if you blackpill yourself on that, then you should apply that to regular friendships. Legit everybody is replaceable. Kids are adopted every day. You quit your job because you hate it, you're replaced in a week. Exes move on and find other people. Its the circle of life.
