Question about Rate my professors.com

Can a professor get a review taken off that site? I had a female professor who had a mean personality and someone left a review of her at Rate my professors.com and compared her to Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter, and she had it removed.

What’s the point of that site if a professor can get a negative review removed?

(This happened two years ago, I graduated in 2018)

How do you know the professor had it removed? It could be that the review violated certain rules. Perhaps the person who wrote the review asked them to remove it? Perhaps the person who wrote the review had already written one, violating the one-review-per-person rule?

And lastly -- from my experience, ratemyprofessor isn't always accurate. You get reviews from people who really hate the professor, and you get reviews from people who really love the professor. The people in the middle don't bother to write anything.

Someone pointed it out to her in the class, and she got involved right then and there.
