what supplements were you conned into buying when you were a noob?

going into GNC as a noob is pretty much a deathtrap. was conned into buying their special creatine HCL pills for probably like 50$. got explosive diarrhea srs

the first couple of years I bought all sorts of supplements and they are all equally worthless I found out much later you literary need 0 supplements to assist you with lifting.

This dude used to sell homemade pre-workout in the locker room stalls. It would have my heart racing and pounding and my brain would hurt if I stopped moving, I'm pretty sure he got busted and thrown in jail months later for selling meth.

I also bought into the animal pack vitamins, there was like 4/5 in a baggy and they were chalky and made me wanna throw up

I didn't buy it but I had several friends who bought in to the Cybergenics craze. If you're old enough, you'll remember. For me it was stuff like beef liver pills and Weider Weight Gainer 5000.
