Thinking about going no screens srs

Gonna sell my Xbox and tv and trade in my iPhone for a straight talk flip phone.

The only downside I can think of is music access.

Thoughts?

I know what you want to achieve, but better to fill your day with other „no screen“ activities than going this way

What is your reason for it?

I got a flip phone for when I leave the house, but I have an iPad at home to use for a few things. As for music, I don't really listen to music unless I'm drunk or working out and in which case I have a laptop or my buddies got music.

For my car trips I download podcasts and put em on CD's.

I don't use my TV or Playstation much, but I still keep them in case.

I go back and forth on that but it seems like I can’t control myself once I start playing video games

Personally I am just gonna try to stay out of the latest chit and tech hype. I like all my older video games and music and chit, new stuff is just trash and they are constantly trying to suck you into some bullchit consumerism lifestyle. It's like trying to keep up with tech these days is like chasing a white rabbit, you are always chasing it and on the pursuit.

Low tech is much better. And don’t even get me started on smart homes lmao.
Smart homes, lol. The kinda chit I could only see some far left techie hipsters being interested in. Like do you really want everything in your house connected to big tech all the time, relying upon them for every facet of your life? All this dependence upon them is really going to bite some people in the ass one day.
